• Come out for a breakfast fundraiser with Rooted Youth Ministry as they are raising funds for various outreaches and an upcoming Mission Trip to Mexico. Youth 30 Hour Famine 
April 26th-27th, 2013 @ Grace Chapel Mira Mesa

 

This is a fundraiser for the 30 hour famine that is happening on the 26th of April which is a Friday going to the 27th. We will be fasting (not eating anything) for 30 hours starting from 11 am on Friday and we will be meeting at Grace Chapel Mira Mesa at around 3:30 pm on Friday. We will be stationed at different store locations throughout Mira Mesa trying to fundraise to feed starving kids in Africa as part of the Worldvision group.

For those who are able to, we will be spending the night at the church Grace Chapel (girls upstairs, guys downstairs) and will resume our fund raising the next day on Saturday. We will end at around 4-5 PM on Saturday and will re-group for a message, Baptisms, worship and a large feast prepared by several people!

Our goal is to raise $5000 this year so that we are able to feed 5000 kids for one day (it costs a dollar to feed a kid for one day) and so far we have raised a little over $2500 already!

We had an amazing time at the UTC mall with over 100 youth from La Jolla to Mira Mesa play some BroomBall!! Awesome worship, Dodegball, Testimony, fellowship, ice Cream Social and lots of fun!
