RENOVATE

God is definitely doing great things here in San Diego, right? Let me tell you about the things that are happening in San Diego North County. May of 2010, four youth pastors and directors from different churches in Mira Mesa and Poway had a vision to impact their community and neighboring communities with the love of Christ. For years they've been trying to link the youth ministries of San Diego together in order to develop a family of believers who have a desire to see God impact their community in a significant way. Lets be real, its fun to talk about, but difficult to actually put things together that actually happen!

The first youth outreach drew together an intense group of young hearts and souls strung out on worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ. There were over 125 impacted middle and high schoolers from various schools in San Diego North County who attended RENOVATE. The unity of the youth from three different churches coming together in one accord just to worship the Lord Jesus was an incredible feeling and sight to see! There were a dozen commitments to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts for the first time. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so powerful and anointing, words can not describe the whole effect. To think that such an amazing discharge of love and energy to worship and praise our Lord Jesus came from the youth!

Every Renovate we hold the anointing intensifies, the students grow hungrier and feel unleashed to praise and worship God more and more freely! it has been awesome!

The point of Renovate is to bring together churches from all over San Diego and virtually any other part of Southern California for an evening of Fellowship, worship, training, and many other types of equipping to become Radical Revivalists who take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to their campuses and workplaces! We have had tremendous testimonies of fresh encounters with God and discovering identity and destiny consistently. Young people are giving their lives to the Lord a fresh and a new, there are first time conversions, we've seen healings, and many other incredible moves of the Spirit of God! You name it! THE WORSHIP IS INCREDIBLE! A mix of musicians all different churches contributing to the worship team.

We are going to be continual in His discipleship in the community and lead people to Christ. Our aim is to have a constant Gathering of the body of Christ as often as possible where we can praise God together and help equip our youth and young adults to live a radical lifestyle yielded to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and see the Glory of God invade our everyday lives! Middle and high Schoolers demonstrating the love and power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on their campuses! Ultimately to see this phenomenal move of God in our city is our goal. We certainly understand that this will never happen with every church doing its own thing and never coming together. Psalm.133:1-Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

So here's what we believe to be a "God ordained" opportunity for us to come together and birth something greater than just a cool event on a Saturday. But the beginning of a unification of San Diego Youth and Young Adult Ministries in San Diego.

We are not trying to promote "our thing" come to "our event" "my conference" ....not even the least.We're proposing an opportunity to develop relationship with other churches in the San Diego region that are pressing into the Kingdom to see a great awakening in our city and our schools!
